Need a dark sky site

i find dark sites very hard! normally when i need to align my scope i can see the star with about a couple around it so its nice and easy! when i went to my 1st dark site a couple months ago there were hundreds of stars when i looked through my finder!!! i could not even pick out polaris! as there were so many stars out lmao :(

Well its been an age since my last post, that little thing called work. Nevermind its time to get back to it, I can predict this week will be spent searching for new ep's and searching for some camping sites to go observing and generally preparing for the clear skies that winter brings.

I've decided to use this blog finally as a weekly update on what I've been doing astronomically, I do have a feeling it will be mostly looking on ebay and reading through posts on here but hopefully there will be some observing thrown in. Jonathon.
