  1. Ok well I'm leaning towards one of the following: Redcat 51 Zenithstar 81 with flattener (gt 81 if I dish out extra $500) Evostar 60 or 80ED Any suggestions?
  2. Here is the pic of the lens the seller provided
  3. Hi stargazers! I want to get start doing some AP. I need help in finding the right scope for this endeavor. Looking to spend from anywhere from $1000 to $1500 (Canadian dollars). I have a seller who wants me to sell a Zenithstar 70ED he says it's made in the USA before WO started to use Chinese manufacturers. Is there a difference in lens optic quality?
  4. I would like to get started dong some astrophotography, but not sure what camera to buy. Since I will be new to AP i don't want to spend too much on a camera. Looking for something that I won't have to modify. Something straight out of the box would be great. Can anyone please suggest decent camera.
  5. Hi I have skywatcher 8" classic dob. I was wondering what 35mm to 40mm ep would be nice to buy for viewing dso I'm willing to probably dish out $300 CAD for one. Or should I just go for a 2nd hand Pentax xl21 guy selling for $250. Was also considering the vixen lwv 42mm
  6. Unfortunately I left my 2" attachment at home and purchased the bhz while I was heading to the cottage for the weekend oh well I guess there's always next time thx for replies.
  7. I just purchased a baader 8-24 zoom eyepiece and using it on a skywatcher 200 dob. With 1.25 I can see fine but I go and try to use 2" the image is not focusing even at 24mm. I mostly see a white circle with a cross. Any suggestions what I am doing wrong, this the first time I've used my scope with a 2" eyepiece.
  8. Hi I just recently purchased a SW 8" Dobsonian. After assembling everything I noticed that the images through the eyepiece was upside down. So I did some searching on the web on why and how I can fix this. I was wondering if this Barlow I found on amazon would do the trick. https://www.amazon.ca/Rectifier-Magnification-Reflector-Astronomical-Accessories/dp/B08XZMBDX4/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=Image+Rectifier+telescope&qid=1629424255&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A11O4ZQ8R1S7T3&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyQ1RBUlM4WE9DWVVPJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNTAwODI0MzZaTldEOU5ENVNQUCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMDQ1OTYzMkdFUFVKWTRXSlRXWSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= Or is there another solution?
  9. Hi I've always been interest in looking a the night sky and seeing the star. Now I am considering purchasing a scope so I can have a closer look. I want to mainly look at Nebulae and planets. Would a Sky-Watcher Heritage 150P or Sky-Watcher 8" 200P Classic be my best choice or some other scope? Also would I need to add more eye pieces or a barlow?
