  1. Clear skies forecast here in Dunstable tonight... Let's hope there right!
  2. At the moment I have 2 1.25" eye pieces that I got with my 70AZ and a 28mm 2" eye piece that I received with my new scope. Is there ANY advantage to the 1.25" eye pieces or should I just buy 2" ones from now on? Many thanks
  3. Sounds like a silly question but there is no operational difference between 1.25" and 2" eye pieces is there? If so, what are the differences.... Field of view? Thanks
  4. Thanks John. Just waiting for my first clear sky now
  5. Sky's are very cloudly here in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. BBC weather says it should clear by about 1am.... Think I will be in bed then Maybe tomorrow...
  6. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Just set up my new SW 200PDS and there are clouds everywhere! Oh well, maybe tomorrow....
  7. Hi Brendan, funny you should say that! The new scope has just arrived and the clouds have just come over
  8. Thanks Bizibilder, will do. I have ordered a Celestron NexImage CCD camera with it. Hoping to get some good pics of Jupiter!
  9. Hi everyone, my name is Ian. I've been fascinated in the night sky since I was a little boy. Around 2 years back my wife bought me my first telescope, it was a Celestron 70AZ. Excellent little scope but now I find myself wanting more I am interested in learning some astrophotography as well so I have just ordered a new SkyWatcher 200PDS, it should arrive today sometime! Anyway, look forward to speaking with you all. By for now.
