If I start saving now hopefully by the time I could afford one they might be back in stock. I suppose the D2 is OK on big targets but not so good on small like ring nebula etc
-
Not sure what to do now sell the D2 and get a seestar, keep the D2. Can't afford both
-
Thanks. I'm on my mobile no laptop , that's why I don't do much processing.
-
Can't seem to open those files
-
Can any share there images before processing them. I have a D2 and only process the images on my phone through snapseed , but would love a seestar. Crescent nebula. 100 x 15 subs. 70 gain. Zwo Duo-Band filter

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. First attempt using the drawf 2, quite an amazing little device. 200 x 15 , 80 gain, edited on snapseed

You where right John. Without the barlow using the normal 1.25 and 2" adapters I couldn't achieve focus found a 15mm adapter and it worked . With the barlow and no adapters I had to move the barlow out 15mm to achieve focus. Now I need a 2" 15mm adapter

My mother in law has given me this. The story behind it is that it was found on a hill side in West Sussex in 1964 . They visited the area after being told a meteorite had crashed there, lots of people where there collecting these rocks. I would be interested in anyone's opinion on it , it's just under the size of a golf ball and very heavy at 75g Dave

No solar scope yet , so using my 80mm finder scope . The views of the sun spots are still pretty decent. @JeremyS you need one of these there self emptying , just wish she would eat the buttercups and daisies.
