I observed 5 of Saturn's moons on 9/26/2021 from Louisville, KY. These were Titan, Rhea, Tethys, Dione and Enceladus. I observe with my Intes 6" (150mm) F/6 Maksutov-Newtonian on a Losmandy GM811G mount. Eyepieces used were University Optics Abbe Orthoscopic 6mm, 7mm, 9mm and 12.5mm. I used Stellarium to confirm my observations. It took me an hour or two of observing beginning around 2300 local time using averted vision and many eyepiece changes to see them all. I attempted to locate Iapetus but at 11.9 magnitude it was too dim. It is also the farthest from Saturn of its major satellites so it is outside the field of view of the others listed here increasing the difficulty of identifying it versus a faint nearby star. It was a fun night of observing some challenging objects. I regularly see 3 of the moons (Titan, Rhea and Tethys) so seeing 5 was a real treat especially with a shopping center within a half mile of my house. Clear skies my friends! Pat Peak
