    M66, M65, NGC3628

This is the only salvageable image from last night. It's not great focus and it was starting to get windy. It is a single 20sec shot at 800 ISO at prime focus on my SW150p, manually focused by eye and the subject was in Portsmouth's sky glow. I have played with the levels and contrast and slightly with the curve, but feel free to have a play ........if you want... jeff.....................
  2. About 10 mins cos i am on earlies at the moment and wanted to get out there quickly
  3. I thought i would have a little play with the 150p while there was a break in the cloud. It was nice to be able to connect the canon straight to the scope rather than through a barlow like i used to. This is just a single shot with no photoshop tweaks just a crop.

    Down the line

Great shot Keiran. It looks a bit like Bedhampton station from the level crossing but i'm probably wrong.

  6. I do like this pic. Especially in b&w the detail really stands out.

    Orion Nebulae 09/01/11

Hi This is a quick pic of the Orion Nebulae from Sun 9th Jan. It was through my x2 barlow (for focusing reasons), 5 x 10 second exposures at ISO 800 (because of vague polar alignment........ yeah that's about north....). Only a little playing with levels and curves in photoshop. jeff.................
  10. This i a great picture especially catching the iridium flare too.

    Aurora green SD

Great pic. I didn't think we have any chance of seeing the aurora this far south.
  12. That's a great shot keiran. Lots of detail.
  13. That's a great shot martyn. As russ said, the seeing conditions last night were a bit murky. Jeff........
