  1. Hi, I'm pretty new to astronomy in general, and er, very new to astrophotography in particular. I'm trying to image, well anything really, through a 200mm Newt using a Canon 500D prime focus. All I am managing to do is take lots of lovely images of the Newts mirror, and nothing else. Please can some kind soul tell me what I am likely to be doing wrong?   3. Yeah, those instructions work for both Vista and W7. The only problem I had was with Celestrons supplied video capture software (AMCap). Just couldn't get it to work. I trawled the web for an alternative and settled on wxAstroCapture which I am using instead.
