using sharpcap pro and after using the brain to measure the light pollution, it suggested i use an exposure of 2.7 seconds and gain 61, brightness 12 for 1 hour, so i did and got this result of ngc 7331.
No filters were used. all my images are made using the relatively cheap zwoasi290mm.
this is test image 2 of the secondary mirrorless scope

never listen to the bearded wise guy sat in the corner of the pub, thats my advice lol!!! Do your own thing, your result is so much better than the bearded wise guys who produce images that look like they are taken from a disney cartoon! All the best to you! Do show your result to all the wise bearded men in the pub!

by altering the hue ,contrast and saturation, this brings out hidden detail, though the colour is not natural!!

Where i live in Taiwan (still unvaccinated due to a wonderfull so called government) the blue channel has been terrible due to the seeing, however, the red and green have been ok,but no where near as good as last year. Has as anyone else noticed this anywhere? or is it just here!!!

Noisy, i know, but the colour balance seems sensible i think, due to the fact that it does not contain any silly over the top colour like the narrow band brigade sometimes make of this.
