Lee I've seen this sort of error because of a loose 12v barrel connection to the Asiair, you might be able to replicate it by giving the barrel a very light tap with your finger. To mitigate this I bought a Lynx Astro power cable which has quite a snug barrel connection and then use velcro ties to ensure there is no cable snag on the power cable when slewing.

Hi you need to include all the calibration frames for each session. Presumably you are using the WBPP script in PI which will allow you to group the appropriate files together by using a keyword prefix. I prefix all the files with "SESSION_YYMMDD_" for each session and WBPP groups the files accordingly. Adam Block has an excellent YT video on this. Eg.:

Hi George I have a similar set up for my travel rig (AZ-GTi, ZWO 294MC Pro, 2Xdew heaters) - I found that this power tank has a tendency to cut out after 90 minutes or so yet still showing 1/2 charge. I suspect it could have been the 2 dew heaters running at 100% drawing too much power causing it to shut down - I've not had a chance to test the theory yet. I chose this powertank as it's 84wH capacity doesn't exceed the 100wH that some airlines specify. (Ryanair limit 160wH).

Re: altitude adjustment for polar aligning.
I had to adjust the latitude configuration for my WO wedge recently and found that the rod/bushing was very sticky with grease - i cleaned this up, re-greased and its much smoother - whilst I haven't used it in anger yet I'm hoping this will make latitude adjustment a bit easier when polar aligning.

Hi to all on the forum. New here, and new to the AZ GTi mount. Arrived today and loving the size and weight of this thing (coming from an EQ5 mount). It's on ALT/AZ but just updated the FW to EQ mode. Im impressed with some images taken on ALT/Az mode by some forum members here. What are your thoughts on mounting a polar scope to the mount, and where would you put it? What if any thoughts on 3D printed mounting plates, and finaly a decent EQ wedge that won't cancel Valentines with the Mrs? And finaly what wort of accuracy are you getting with EQ on latest FW? Thanks clear skies
Didn't want to get you in to trouble with the missus but 👍 for the WO wedge on the GTi. Haven't been using the mount for some time but I think I was getting guiding error anywhere between 1"-2" RMS in EQ mode with FW version 3.36 - was getting DEC runaway with earlier versions of FW. I thought this was pretty good given a load of over 5kg, I had a counterweight bar and 1.27 kg counterweight too.

I have a filter holder so its quite close to the sensor now, I didn't really like the images when threaded on to the flattener to be honest.

I have the ASI294MC Pro L-eXtreme combination and don't have any complaints - have a look at Astrobin for examples by putting "ASI294MC L-eXtreme" in the search window.

Hi - Is that with BIN 2 guiding?

Hi - you mean the BIN setting on the ASIAIR App? I have the same camera, I just leave it defaulted to BIN1 in the app and it works ok in that I can see the image on the screen. I've not had a chance to use it for a while so I'll double check next time.
Other users have complained about the app's default storage pointing to the SD card rather than the USB stick in the latest version of firmware and it has been noted by ZWO tech.
