  1. I image the odd time with my PST and use a QHY5 mono guide camera. I'm open to correction on this but I believe the focus point for the PST is inside the eye piece holder so you need the 1.25 format camera (either QHY5 or asi 120 mini) to place the sensor at the appropriate spot. Michael.
  2. I've just checked and I don't have the problem. Michael.
  3. You could try Dropbox on the Android tablet and PC. Store the camera photos in the Dropbox folder on the Android device and they will sync to the PC. This would require internet access for both devices tho'. Michael.
  4. If you have Pixinsight you can run a linear fit on each of the frames to balance them. Perhaps Photoshop has a similar function? Great image. I'm still trying to get the hang of my Quark. Michael.
  5. I'll be going. See you there. I'll be the one with the PST (ever the optimist). Michael.
  6. I forgot to add that I used a compass to get tracker pointed roughly to the South and used https://www.magnetic-declination.com to get the magnetic declination.
  7. I polar aligned my Astrotrac using it's polar scope. I leveled the tracker and used the gauge on the wedge to set the latitude. Once done, I could concentrate on finding Chi and Sigma Octantis by moving the tracker in Azimuth. Michael.
