wrap some plumbers tape around the Heritage focuser thread, it'll work better with less slop. -
Yo, got up at 6am this morning, grabbed the Dob and had 3/4 of an hour on saturn. It's between E and S and next to Spica. Excellent seeing , Cassini, strom belt and the moons.Good at x100 upwards.

Seems to clear up until 2am, then the clouds set in again.We don't seem to get clear evenings all the way through until winter, hang on !!

Hi, 12mm BST Explorer ED from Skys the limit; http://www.skysthelimit.org.uk/telescope%20eyepieces.html This gives a wide eyepiece to not only view , but hold up a digi camera to. I used an old Sony Cybershot (7.2 mp) and turned down the brightness feature. The lens of this is quite large and lines up well with the eyepiece. -
8" Dob. Compact camera held up to the eypiece.
