  1. Yea I've attempted searches with t-adapter, eyepiece adapter, t-ring eyepiece adapter and no luck. The set of lenses that have the adapter on them are the 1.25 Celestron Nexstar Plossl. There are 2 of those. I also have an adapter on a 1.25 Celestron OMNI Plossl. This tells me it's not just a certain eyepiece. These just thread on where the rubber eyepiece relief is removed. Oh well, I'll keep searching. Lol
  2. You are correct. Mine is matte black inside the tube.
  3. I have a few eyepieces that have an adapter mounted on the eyepiece that enables me to screw the eyepiece into my T-ring for my camera. I also have another set of eyepieces that have a couple different magnifications and a barlow lens. I was wondering what the adapter was called so I could put these on my other eyepieces.
  4. Nice setup. I was able to get my like new C90 for $120. Couldn't pass that up.
  5. Very nice pic! I think the 600 series of Canons were more designed for astrophotography. The pic I took is on my tripod that really can't handle the weight of the scope and camera. Hoping the new mount will help. Yea, it was 2 reasons that I bought the C90. One was for a quick look at the moon and such and the other was for a spotting scope at the gun range.
  6. Cool eclipse pic. Yea I should get my Sky-watcher AZ-GTe mount in this week. Looking forward to mounting the C90 on it. My avatar is a pic I took with my canon T4i with the C90 a couple weeks ago. The tripod I have right now is not very steady and is not fluid head so it's hard to work with it.
  7. I bought this C90 a few weeks ago. I have been able to see the moon good of course and was able to see this last conjunction pretty goo. Does any here have a C90 and how has your experience been with seeing anything deeper in space? I bought this for just a quick view of the sky once in a while. My Sky-Watcher AT-GTe mount will be in this friday. Hoping it will be pretty stable on the mount as I have been taking pictures also. I also have a Celestron CPC 800 but it's packed up and really don't have a place to keep it setup right now. I'm thinking of buying one of those Sky Shed domes. Thanks for any input! Bobby
  8. This is what I didn't know. When it says WiFI, I just thought it was able to receive home wifi and then connect. I just watched a pretty cool little vide on on the synscan app and he mentioned that the mount is it's own hotspot! I am glad to know that, I won't be confined to being within my internet distance. Lol
  9. Yea I have taken pics by way of prime focus but I wanted to get some more magnification. The variable adapter is definitely not going to holder these eyepieces. I have thread adapters on the ends of my eyepieces that screw into my t-ring. I was hoping the variable adapter would help with focusing. Thanks David! Bobby
  10. I have just ordered a sky-watcher AZ-GTe Mount. Reading this thread is starting to make me realize I may have issues. I have a wireless ISP. So my wifi runs off a router. Not much in the way of turning that off or I lose all wifi. Why is it that y'all mention turning off the home wifi. How else do you connect to the mount?
  11. Hello all. I have had a few telescopes in the past years. Mostly a couple small Meades and then I graduated to celestron. I have a CPC 8 right now but it's packed away. So I bought me a little MAK C90 spotting scope. Not a bad little scope. Was able to see the Conjunction or Jupiter & Saturn a week or so ago. Right now I'm trying to setup my canon to my C90. I bought one of those variable telescope camera adapters but my Nexstar Plossi's won't fit into them. So I have a couple questions. 1. I have threads on these Plossi's that thread directly to my T-adapter. Will I get the same effect going straight from camera - t-Adapter - lense - scope? @. If I have to use the variable adapetr, can I buy one that these fat plossi's will fit in to? Thanks all and hope to have some fun here. Btw, my other forums/hobbies are Coins, vintage watches & guns. Lol
