  13. In 2022 we expect to see a red nova in constellation Cygnus. A star called KIC 9832227 is a CONTACT binary star in Cygnus. In 2017the system was predicted to result in a merger in 2022 producing a red novareaching an apparent magnitude of 2. The LRN would remain visible to the naked eye for roughly a mounth. The merger of the two stellar core was predicted to give birth to a new, hotter, more massive main-sequence star. I suggest we need to prepare and be aware of the red nova.
