I use a celestron 8se and cannon dslr with a shutter release cable I slewed to the lagoon nebula and could see it in my eye piece how you would expect to see it but when I put my camera on and did a test exposure of about 5 seconds I could kinda see the nebula but I got a lot of star trailing even though I had the telescope aligned
