  2. OK because I'm new here this post probably contains numerous discussion board faux-pas - apologies in advance. I've had a Meade LX90 since 2013, and I've had a lot of fun learning how to use it and take photos through it. However, earlier this year I noticed strange features both when using an eyepiece or a camera. These are new and I've never seen them before. I've attached a quick high-iso image to show what's happening. There's a "bloom" around the star, and a cobweb-like distortion to one side. This cobweb pattern tracks across the image in the opposite direction to a point source, so when the star is off-centre the pattern is in a different place within the image. Any clues on what the problem is and how to fix it are greatly appreciated! I've already had the telescope professionally stripped down and cleaned, and this did not get rid of the problem.
