Great blog, good to see others freezing for the sake of Astronomy. That frosty scope makes me think of the scene from "A Christmas Story" where the kids tounge gets stuck to the frozen light pole. -

Thanks Paul, I have been very happy with the D40 so far, I used the in camera dark frame subtraction and Noiseware to clean it up a bit. Can't wait for Andromeda to be high enough to try and shoot. -
