It had rained in the evening that always helps clear the seeing a bit I have found.

Clear nights are almost a memory at the moment and the evening did not show much promise, yet the MET app said clear so we set up, pleased i did.

Its pretty bad here in Hereford, a lot of led lights can i use a filter (52mm on my gopro)?

The Moon makes a welcome return tonight as I have not captured it many times and with a lunar halo or is that an artifact of the imaging process?

Also an ISS fly past at the end.

Weathers been typically British the last few weeks, did manage this last night.

I'd never invest in imaging gear for this country with its weather unless it's multifunctional, hence my GoPro stuff

WOW finally a session with almost no cloud !!! dropped the ISO to 800 from 1600 not sure if its made any real difference.

New angle today not sure if they work without a reference object but still..

almosts decided to not set up but the weather picked up a bit, pleased i did.

Changed the colour settings and that's better but the Milky way is fainter, I think the moon didn't help too as its light washed out the image I feel. I'm also pondering on changing the framing to erase the horizon but get extra roof to see how that alters things. 

I have found out how to control the colour while recording so its fixed throughout the session. 

I have not done many Night lapses they need a fair bit more processing than a Star Trails.

With the Light Pollution in a city m pretty please it has come out so far.

I need to work out better colour correction and noise reduction in the processing of the single frames with RawTherapee, Colour changing over the session is not helping due to the same to GoPro auto adapts in some way (it appears).

I made the Portrait for uploading to a reel on faceache not sure it really works but you dont know for sure unless you try.

New credits too LOL enjoying the software. these only take a few minutes to process now
