  1. Thank you for the information. My real question is regarding the daytime observation. The threads emphasise about the low altitude, and, to beat that one has to try to see them during the day. I saw several pictures of Jupiter taken during the day/twilight but since I didn't look into this problem yet and Jupiter is almost at opposition, I don't really have time to gain more experience in the matter. I saw many times the Moon and Venus during twilight, but not Jupiter or Saturn. I imagine that I could potentially see Jupiter in my finderscope also during the day. If anyone has experience in that perhaps can advise me.
  2. In December 2020, there's going to be an unique event for the next 20 years, Jupiter Saturn conjunction. Given the fact that the planets will be relatively close to the Sun, is there any chance of seeing them during the daytime and if so, what would be the best option for doing so? Anybody with experience in daytime observation?
