  1. Hello. I believe its the filter wheel. It should rotate in one direction so the filter stops in the same place every time. If the filter goes bi directional ie clockwise and counter clockwise to get the nearest filter it can create these artifacts. I belive Adam block has a video on it. Or it maybe James from the DSO imager channel.Clear skies.
  2. I use a player one saturn m. Uncooled. These chips run with very low noise which calibrate out using flats and dark flats. That's should be all you need. Zero amp glow. They are a great sensor the imx533. I also have the zwo 533 mc pro. For me the mono is the one I'm using the most. Hope this help but it's my tuppence with. Good luck and clear skies.
  3. This is my image of NGC 3718 and NGC 3729. 2 hrs each of RGB and 3 hrs Luminance. Skywatcher 120ed with Antlia pro V filters. Player One Saturm M camera. Thanks.
  4. Yes about the mottling. Funny thing is it don't show on the original so I assume it's being added by compression or something. I will look into this. Clear skies
  5. This is my image of M106. 11 hrs total. 2hrs each RGB 3hrs Lum and 2 Ha. Not an hi res upload but I'm pleased with it. My first galaxy this year.
  6. Hope this is OK. It's my review of the player one camera with real world data captured. Not been much on the forum. Thanks guys and hope it helps. Clear skies.

  8. Welcome. Live barnehurst though originally from upt North.
  9. Hiya. Looks like to me your calibration step is way too much. Reduce to maybe 1500. Ra and dec should be set the same 1500ms as the max you have set is too short for the calibration step. That's the way I see it. Hope it helps. Also make sure you have the focal lenght for the guide camera set accurately.
  10. Yes I am no matter what I do the ok button is not visible. Tried re installing the software to no avail.
  11. Hello. I Have a problem with Siril. Since the last update i've not been able to colour calibrate my images as the ok button is not showing. thanks in advance of any help.
  12. I have timelapse on my channel taken with the wyze v3. https://youtube.com/channel/UCLXcX_KrVbwOh2EXvL2t4hA Works well.
  13. Hello yes. It's a wyze cam v3. Thought I'd try it for maybe meteor watching and timelapse. Seem to work quite well. Had a bit of fading around to get it working over my wifi but seems pretty good quality for only fifty quid.
  14. No not part of any network. Only put it out yesterday for experiment.to see if it can work.

  16. Hi all just a heads up but the geminids are active now. Even tho past peak. Seen several bright meteors tonight and a fireball few minutes ago.
  17. Thank you. Forgot to add scope was skywatcher 72ed and stellamira 0.8 reducer. On a neq6 with asi 533. Filter was l extreme. 1st rung of the learning ladder.
  18. 22x180s 2 panel mosaic. Colour calibration in siril. Stacked dss. And processed photoshop. Pleased with results tho I know I need more data.
  19. Hi is histogram set to auto. I would think it's a focus issue. It's a good idea if it's a new set up to focus daytime on something distant. Even from a window if views are limited. Tho you will have to shorten exposure times accordingly.
  20. I use the asiar on my windows laptop. I downloaded bluestacks which is an android emulator. Sign in to your google play store and download app. Works great. Also fire up asiair first then connect wifi to the asiair. You wont have the internet on your laptop unless you connect asiair to you home hub by using station mode. You still connect via asir tho
  21. Yes. So whole lot moves together. Rough with mirror then fine with crayford. There is no change of length focal reducer 👍🏻👍🏻
  22. Hi. I used the focal reducer spaced to the camera with the sct t adapter. Then slid into the crayford focuser with a 2 inch to sct male adapter. Focus was achieved with the crayford dialed half way out. Then rough focus with the main sct focuser. It allowed the ultra fine in/out focus with the crayford. That was with a 10 meade and 6.3 reducer. Hope this helps and clear skies 👍🏻👍🏻
  23. I had a problem with led lighting. Was real bad glare. Emailed a polite query to the council. (Bexley) explained I do astrophotography and the problem and asked could they put a shield on the lamp. Within a week they put a side shade on. Unfortunately that only cut it down by 50%. I wrote giving an update and thanked them again and said about only 50% block. The came and fut another shade on the rear too and now I have none. Of course it's been cloudy since but where my scope can only go is glare free. It's always worth asking as nothing to lose. Clear skies.
