  6. Well that's a good question really. I started with a Canon rebel xs and really liked the images I was getting. I was getting good results then I wanted to go to guiding.. hence the ultra star C but ran into all sorts of issues with getting focus etc. I would be happy taking halfway decent guided photos I suppose but am really struggling with the software settings and these older windows programs for the ultra star C. It would be nice if it worked with APT but doesn't seem to. Anyway.. sorry if I am rambling. I do have an interest in EAA. Thanks for asking. Anyhelp with the ultra star C settings would be greatly appreciated
  7. Hi all just wanted to say hi! I am new to the forum. Although not new to astronomy, I am new to astro-photography. One of my reasons in joining was to learn more about a camera that I just purchased from Starlight Xpress. It is the Ultra Star C. If anyone can give me some tips on this I would be greatly appreciative. Not having a great deal of success with this camera and an es102. Anyway hello to everybody!
