  1. Hi all, I’ve had a skyguider for a while and have upgraded to an HEQ5 pro. I am having trouble with the mount when connected to the air. When the air isn’t connected the mount slews in both axis’ using the mount however when the air is connected to the mount it will only slew in ascension both by using the up/down left/right arrows on the hand controller or when using the controller to find an object, it will slew on ascension but not declination with the mount just showing ‘slewing’ until you press esc. Unplug the air and it works fine on both axis’ again. If I had any hair I’d be tearing it out. Any ideas please? ps. I’ve just ordered an EQmod cable to see if that helps.
  2. Hi all. Feeling a total 🔧 missed a clear sky by using the wrong cable, all god now. Many thanks to Robbindonne mentioning trying all USB ports got me thinking that its pilot error rather than machine failure.
  3. Hi, thanks for the reply. As far as I can see everything is as it should be, both camera’s are charged up and set to bulb. The 750D has a 2.5 to 2.5 cable that works ok with my Pluto Trigger the 5Diii an N3 cable that again works with the Pluto, makes me think it’s the Air that’s the problem. I’ve tried various ways of turning on, Air first, camera first but nothing works.
  4. Hi all, first time posting on a forum so be gentle with me if I’m in the wrong place. I have an asiair pro that picks up my ASI120mm-s guide scope but I can’t get it to find either a Canon 5Diii or Cano 750D it either shows a greyed out option to select the guide or none! Both camera’s use different cables so I’m thinking it’s something to do with the asiair, I have looked online and tried plugging the camera’s in before and after turning the air on which has worked for others but not me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
