  12. Hi after receiving my Skywatcher 72ed pro flattener I couldn't get prime focus.I contacted the astronomy shop I bought it from and they said Skywatcher have sent faulty batches out with lenses the wrong way around.I wasted most of my holiday trying to find out what was wrong.I ended up on the last 2 days of my holiday when clear skys came around tried a few spaces which cured the problem. I cant believe Skywatcher could let this go out undetected at £185 it isn't cheap.I am now waiting for a replacement at the end of the month least my Svbony spacers bought on ebay a while ago saved the day.
  13. I was originally going to buy the rvo horizon 72ed refractor but chose the Skywatcher a bad mistake.
  14. Hi after purchasing a Skywatcher 72ed pro I heard nothing bad about these refractor scopes.I found out I couldn't get proper focus with my dslr with the Skywatcher recommended flattener unless I backed the ring off 5mm as this supposed to be spot on with this flattener which isn't cheap. I finally tried my ebony 2" adapters as I had 5 off differing diameters.I finally achieved clear focus with loads in hand when screwing the 2nd smallest into my flattener, either I have a duff focuser or their is a big problem as I have seen similar problems with this refracter and wasted 2 weeks of decent skys trying to find the problem has anyone had any issues with this problem?
  15. Hi I am going to use my celestron 8" sct with a f/6 celestron flattener for deepsky photography what camera would anyone recommend to use with this setup?
