Hello All, thank you for accepting me into this community. I purchased a Pegasus Pocket Powerbox as I wanted to better organise my cables on my setup and because i wanted to be able to power my Canon EOS 7D mk ii for longer imaging sessions than the normal LP-E6 batteries will allow (I tried a battery grip) but it adds too much bulk and weight to the camera sticking out of the side of my Skywatcher 150PDS). I immediately had issues as the camera would occasionally power up using the 8v supply lead and the dummy battery however most of the time it was displaying a flashing battery icon on the LCD dispay on the camera like it does when a normal battery runs out. Even if the camera did start with the 8v power supply it would likely only stay on for a few minutes and then would revert to the low battery icon flashing and stop me imaging. I purchased the Pegasus Pocket Powerbox and the battery adapter from Altair Astro. I initially contacted them and they replaced the battery adapter however I am still having the same issues. I have got my multi meter out to test the voltage the Pocket Powerbox is sending out of the 8v DSLR outlet and it is only giving 7.58v. I have many LPE6 batteries and they all give approximately 7.72v. Is the issue that I'm having that the Pegasus Powerbox is faulty giving out only 7.58v and that the camera therefore interprets it as a flat battery? I have logged into the powerbox using the usb connection and the software but there is no means of adjusting the output voltage.. Thanks, Dean 20200603_092917.mp4
