  1. Hi ' Could someone help me out please? I've owned the Altair Astro 269c Protec for about a year now but I "still" don't know the correct camera settings in SGP, The gain readings range from 1.00x to 50.00x The black level/offset range from 0 to 496 The USB speed range is 0 to 3 I'm using v 1.4.147.0 ASCOM driver. I don't use Sharpcap , APT, NINA so I have not carried out a sensor analysis plus the readings which people use with NINA, Sharpcap & APT don't have the same figure readings as SGP Thanks, Keith.

  7. Hi' I'm hoping to watch this evening, I do have a question - Would it be advisable for people watching to have their microphone's muted during the talk? this would allow the speaker to talk without any interruption of background sounds. Keith.
  8. Hi everyone, after introducing myself (again) after a long, long absence! Here's a mosiac of our Moon, using the C9.25" & ZWO asi 290mm with I.R. pass filter, captured using Firecapture 2.6, aligned and stacked in Autostakkert II, frames were combined using the amazing Microsoft I.C.E. and finally wavelets applied in Registax v6. Ahhhh, it's good to be back ! Keith.
  9. Hi Everyone, After a very long absence I'm back, since I was last here I've moved house and with a wide open sky where I see the Sun rise & set I decided to build an observatory which houses my EQ6 Pro/C9.25" 80mm & ZS66 ED refractor's & Lunt Ha scope. ( not at the same time) A member of Sunderland A.S. and often attend Dalby starfest & Kielder starcamp, primarily I do planetary/Lunar Solar Ha imaging but since the obsy was built I now image in narrowband too. Clear skies, Keith. Here's some of my results: https://www.flickr.com/photos/7288512@N02/with/49926703456/
