  2. Oh jeez. Getting more complicated. I’ve just been back out. Will have to wait until it goes dark because all I can see in my finder is white clouds.
  3. Right next question... how do I know what axis etc to put my telescope on to find a planet? Just been looking for Venus. Found where it was on the app but couldn’t find nothing in the sky haha

  6. I’ve just got the same object in both the finderscope and the telescope. When tried to tighten the screws on the finder it just took it way off target
  7. Thankyou. But when I get an idea bjext in my finderscope in the centre of the crosshairs I tighten the screws and look through it again and I’m back to square one. My target is completely out of the crosshairs????
  8. I need somebody to physically show me how to align it. I am determined to try the. Just get frustrated! Ha

  12. Ok Thankyou very much for all your help. Sorry I seem to be mithering. I just cannot get my head around it. And I wanted to go back to university to study astronomy basics haha.
  13. Also why are the RA coordinates for planets in hours? And not degrees?
