well I reckons if I got the 100 deg stuff finalised if I chose to get a set of 70ish deg they would seem so much cheaper 😉 -

Very nice selection. Can do a lot with those. For some reason I like the idea of a 7mm nagler. -
With the ethos 3.7 I can fit the whole moon in the fov with my refractor at 198x. It’s quite a sight. The 4.7 gave me a treat with Orion Nebula last month and is a very usable eyepiece a lot of the time. It nice have such impressive fov’s with manual setups and so easy to find targets even just using an rdf 👍

I got the 4.7 over a year ago before the astronomy drought. Managed to find that telescope house had a 3.7 however it came from Germany.

Or what I did was get the 4.7 and the 3.7 which are nothing short of amazing 😉

I’m not sure how many owners there are on sgl but I love mine. Manual only for me. It takes my 200 pds with ease and I swing it around like a garden howitzer.

With Hermes anybody’s stuff can end up anywhere. It’s like one of those lucky dips when we were kids (apologies to any Hermes workers couldn’t resist it) 😁

Yeah that’s the baby. Leave it on the Rigel and no sticky pads on the telescopes, especially on the “refractor” 👍

I bet that people that have got Rigel would pay for that type of fitting 😉

You should print a fitting so a Rigel will fit a standard finderscope shoe.
