...since then I've moved jobs, been to two weddings, see at least 5 kids born to friends, met/engaged/married, moved house, 99% through a house purchase and had a honeymoon in Hawaii (including going up Mauna Kia).

You like doing things the hard way then eh?? :)

I'm really looking forward to giving this a go... especially when it's integrated into some other vendors software.

For me Nebulosity is the deal maker/breaker so it's good to hear that Nebulosity is an option/possibility/probability? :) as it's the only app I use for image capture/guiding.

The two other apps I use most are Astroplanner (author Paul Rodman) and SkySafari although in each case I leave control of the scope usually to EQMac and neither are really relevant to camera control.

Another possibility is Equinox/Equinox Image by Darryl Robertson. It's mostly SBIG oriented but as a Mac user I've always wanted to link in Equinox into what I do..

There's a Central Scottish Observers Group ( CSOG Forum - Index ) with many SGL members on that organise observing nights and suchlike. It may be too far to go for you in some cases but is probably worth checking them out :)

In Taunton this has been a much better winter for clear nights than the last two with at least twice as many... but, I've been unable to take advantage of most of them :embarrassed::angryfire:

I was in Brittany a couple of summers ago and discovered that not only are the clouds the same (literally as they were coming from the north) but the rain felt the same too. Disappointing really... :wink:

Probably jinxed it for me here in Taunton too... :-)

I know the feeling, it's clear here but Anna has been really ill this weekend and sleep is proving to be elusive!
