  1. Hi there and welcome from Bodmin
  2. Hi everyone, After some advice/help from the more experienced observers although saying that anyone who has been observing more than a few times is more experienced than me🤣. I have had a Tracer Lithium Ion battery pack for about 5 years and unfortunately it looks like having been unused for a few years, the pack has demised as it does not seem to hold a charge😢. What sort of battery pack/power tank should i look at for my Nexstar 5SE scope? All advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris
  3. Hi Mark, Welcome to the forum. I used to live in Surrey and when there used to be an astronomy shop in Dorking they would go up to Ranmore common and do some observing, could be worth a look. Happy observing.
  4. Hi Dave, Welcome to SGL. Good Luck in sourcing your 1st scope. Keep praying for clear skies and they shall return.

    Hello

Hi Everyone, Thought i better try and get back into this hobby. Very new to this so taking very small steps at present but this seemed a good oner to take first. Used to live in Surrey and purchased a Celestron Nexstar 5se from Astronomia about 4 years ago, sadly once they stopped their observing nights it took a back seat. Haven't really got round to using it much though but now that i am down in the SW of England and a good selection of dark sky at my disposal, perhaps nows a good time as any to try again. Happy Stargazing .
