  1. Hi everyone Just had a quick look at her and I think she is dimming not as bright tonight and tail faintish in binoculars But still worth looking at for me she really was a wonderful sight Steve
  2. 11.00 pm Second night got her with the binoculars I can just make out the bright nucleus with a great tail The neighbors were out all girls so I offered to show them a marvelous astronomical site the comet they all loved seeing her They said she was awesome Steve
  3. I'm only asking because does anyone know roughly how big is the nucleus is and how many millions of miles her tail is? Steve
  4. Was up early this morning 3.00am and Jupiter and Saturn were disappearing from view behind the roof tops and mars shining a lovely salmon pink Sky now starting to get lighter then to the east just over the neighbors roof Venus so bright I mean bright she looked huge such a great view Steve
  5. Saw Jupiter and Saturn over the gas holder station through the binoculars very nice that was about 11.30pm Steve
  6. I did it I found her just now 11.00 pm from home I am so made up I'm chuffed she is brilliant in binoculars I could see the nucleus and tail I didn't think I was going to see it but wow I might go to Shirley hills we have a great n/be view but will just nip out once more Steve

  8. Been up since 2.45 was clear then dreaded cloud 3.38 cloud seems to have patches maybe I Will see it I'll let you know later. Steve

  14. Hi everyone just had my first real view of Venus in my celestron nexstar 8se wow I could see a cresent like the moon has It was just fantastic I'm still getting use to the scope I'm not tec minded but I manage in the end but I must say what a wonderful jewel in the sky. Steve
