  1. I’m new to astronomy. I have a Dobsonian Sky-Watcher Flextube 200P with the SynScan go to system. I’m trying to align the telescope with the daytime method today since it it snowing heavily today here in Colorado. I’m trying to align my scope with the Sun. After the SynScan told me where to point the scope, I did my best since I’m indoors using a Commander compass I downloaded on my iPhone. I “aligned” the scope. Then I wanted to point it to the Moon-the scope just turned around and around not stopping although it passed where the Moon was several times. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
