  2. I will go for the colour one , it says on the FLO site that the 50deg lens can be screwed in to far and will mark the window not to focus beyond infinity ? I can't find at thing in the manual about focus ? , also in the Q&A for Jupiter it says use a 4 or 5x Barlow ?
  3. Thank you I have asked Martin at FLO if it can do deep space
  4. 5. Hi mate I had the powerseeker , if you are going to change eyepieces go for one to use with your next telescope so you don't waste money , I did put a motor on mine does help with tracking targets , the hardest part is getting your head round the EQ flip , just set up in the day time so you can see what your doing and play about getting the telescope look at target in the South while polar aligned North Great telescope have fun and enjoy the hobby
  6. Hi take a look at FV-5 pro on play store is ment to be like having a DSLR camera on your phone

    The Weather

Hi and welcome it because anything you order for astronomy comes with clouds in the box , I know what it's like all week when I am working we have clear skies and weekend comes and weather changes
  9. you can play with the mounts day time just tell it it's lined up on your 2/3 star alignment then test on a target just to see if it stops
  10. Hi mate there another thing to try clear all data from hand set PAE etc , then just to try dont put the scope on the mount go through the alignment ( just tell the band it's lined up on the star ) then give it a target and see if it can find it , if it does try with telescope on it all is well that's great Now when you go out at night do the star alignment as normal , then give it a target it may be off so press escape then press and hold escape till it says centre ( what star you were looking for ) then centre it in the eyepiece then press enter you may have to do 3 stars but it will then get closer to spot on , doing this puts new data in the PAE , done this on mine and it's very close to the target star
  11. Hi I flocked my 150/750 when I had it and also done my OO VX8L , got the sheets from FLO it's really sticky just remember to score it So it can expand with telescope

  14. 15. Hi cant you get an adapter to change plug or lead made up the manual show the connection for the plug
  16. The only thing with lipos is if you go below 3.2 volts per cell the lipo is stuffed and won't recharge , I use the Celestron power pack as it can be run flat and can be left like it for 6 months , you don't have to charge it every time you use it and is so light in weight has red and white light built in and dew proof so no worries about it getting wet The other pack is a car starter pack you can put it in your pocket it's that light , I run the fan on the mirror and can use the usb at the same time , they do them in Amazon
  17. This is what mine looks like like I said does everything , I use it in day time alignment to line the tripod to polar Then level the tripod , fit the mount then attach my phone to the mount were the telescope would fit and do polar alignment of the mount then your ready , you don't have to see Polaris to use this or your polar scope
  18. Hi I use a Celestron power pack the power leads on a Celestron is the same as skywatcher tip is live on the plug And a gell power pack to run the cooling fan on the mirror also it will charge my phone etc while out
  19. It's not an American thing give me a Mustang with a blower any day
  20. Hi we do have one up the caravan so will be good once lock down is over
  21. If you fancy trying something out I have an app called polar alignment pro it does everything right from levelling the tripod , it will let you do a day time polar alignment by mounting your phone on the mount were the dove tail will fit , I did a few polar alignments over a few nights using the polar scope and then checked it with the app and the app showed as spot on , I would not say use it for photography long exposures but for visual it's 100% It's worth a try it is not dear they do it for Android and iPhones
  22. Hi found the polar scope was hard to start off , a tiny tiny adjustment moves it a long way , but what the guys have said does work , only do the polar scope adjustment when you have loads of time you can't rush it Set up the tripod level and at a height so you can sit and look into the polar scope then follow what the guys have said , if it starts to get worse stop walk away have a cuppa then go back to it take your time and move the grub screws a tiny tiny adjustment it will come right in the end If you have a long living room / dining room you can put a target at one end of the room and do the adjustment in doors you want a dot about an inch in size , I found this video helped
