  1. Fantastic shots! Can I ask for a photo of the spacing you used with the Esprit 120 and the 268M? I'll be getting the camera soon, and from the end of my field flattener have an M48 thread but the 55mm back focus configuration ends in an M48 thread, and I would appreciate some clarification! :)
  2. Thank you so much everyone! Greatly appreciated.
  3. Thank you! Do you know whether it would fit onto a Canon 1100D?
  4. Hi everyone! I was wondering whether any of you have had any experience with the Samyang 85mm camera lens for astrophotography? I was looking at the 135mm version but it is way out of my league price wise. If any of you have had any luck with the 85mm could you please let me know/post example pictures down below! I would be attaching it to a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer and a Canon 1100D to make a portable setup. Clear skies!
  5. Cool, thank you so much! I am thinking of purchasing the SkyWatcher Star Adventurer for my Canon 1100D (which without it would only be able to do 5.9 seconds).
  6. Hi everyone. So I've got a primary imaging rig but I need something portable to grab and go for dark-sky locations. I have already chosen a star tracker but what do you all think of the Samyang 85mm 1.4 camera lens? I looked at the 135mm but it is way out of my budget and from what I've seen, the 85mm can produce some stunning shots. For those in America, you may know Samyang as Rokinon. Clear skies!
  7. Fantastic, I have all of the adapters needed to add up to 75mm. If I wasn't using a field flattener, would I have to have exactly 225mm of accessories or could it be under?
  8. I am imaging with a flattener. The back focus of my scope is 225mm and the field flattener is 75mm. Does this mean I have 150mm left for other accessories?
  9. One more thing, is it the same for imaging (the 225mm back focus)? I thought you were talking about visual observing : )
  10. Thank you so much! I am learning every day with this hobby and I am so grateful for your help. Yes, this way clearer!
