      just dug out my folder with my messier hit list and telrad finder charts

      i may have to give these RACI finder a go ive always used a straight through

      Not at all. I've got a Telrad, just got to get some batteries for it :D. I manage without, not by looking through the RACI, but just above it to see where I'm pointing, I then look through the finder to see where I am. Works amazingly well.
