  1. You can see my existing kit list on my signature below and all are great scopes but my Explorer 150P and EQ3-2 mount are getting too heavy for me to lug up and downstairs and that is the mount that I use for the WO Zenithstar. Looking to sell my three scopes and to buy one general purpose scope with a goto mount, suitable for planetary/lunar imaging. Open to any advice on what to go for, but thought about the Celestron Nexstar SE 6 or similar. Thanks in advance
  2. Incredible detail, thanks for sharing!
  3. Not sure if I am on the correct page or not, please point me in the right direction if not and accept my apologies. I am looking at selling my three telescopes and consolidating to one. I have a Zenithstar 80 II ED APO telescope, a Skywatcher 150P and a Skywatcher Mak 102. All are pretty much in pristine condition but have no clue as to what they are worth and I cannot remember what I paid for them when I bought them. The Mak 102 his used most, the others have not been out for a few years. Hoping for a bit of advice as to how much they are worth and would welcome any input. Thanking you in advance.
  4. A lot of wonderful images here, so itching to get something more than a very quick session where the scope doesn't get a cool down and I am out and in within the hour!
  5. I don't know if I will get around to using it but I will follow it with interest. Thanks for taking the time to write this.
  6. Superb Images, can't wait to get going with some imaging on my EQ3/2
  7. Very interesting Bobro, I need to get up to speed with the kit I have, then the Raspberry Pi option looks like it could be worth a go, a good bit of additional outlay though with the guidescope, Raspberry Pi etc. Thanks for point this thread out though, good work!
  8. Nige, I Have a T-ring and have focussed it on the moon before, I know DS objects are much further away but don't want to be hacking at my scope! Would it be better to try my WO refractor instead? Steve
  9. Thanks, I have had a look and it may help me decide what to try. Excuse my ignorance but what is ABE?
  10. This is a cracking image. I too have a 150P and an EQ3 and would love to be able to get decent images. I have a Canon 30D so can you tell me how you mounted your camera and what if anything between the camera and the scope. I don't think I would get as big an image with my 30D. I would be grateful if you could tell me how you got such a beautiful image. Thanking you in anticipation!
