  1. Looking for some advice about Portable Power stations. Currently I am using a 12v 75amp deep cycle leisure battery which is around 4 or 5 years old. Now thinking about replacing it with either another battery or a power station. I think I right in saying my set up draws between 3.5 amps and 6 amps per hour depending if the dew heaters are on. The portable power stations measure usage in Watt Hour. 12v x 75 amps requires a 900 Watt Hour Power Station and they are not cheap circa £900 where as a 12v 75 amp leisure battery cost £80. But of course they are heavy to carry about. Anyone using a Portable Power Station for their set up? If so are you pleased with it?
  2. Hello, I expect there is a real simple fix but I cannot find it. I have downloaded Pixinsight and now when I use Adobe Bridge, Pixinsight appears to be the new previewer hence the thumbnails appear blank. If you double click the images they will open in Camera Raw ok. So I guess there's a setting in Bridge that Pixinsight has over ridden....Would that be correct? Could one of clever people advise what I need to do to fix this? Cheers
  3. Hi All, First post and guess what...yes I am looking for some advice, I am new to Astro Photography. I have purchased a used HEQ5 mount, a used Meade Series 6000 80mm ED and a used guide scope with a QHY-5-11 camera. I would like if possible to control the mount and guide scope with my 8 year old MacBook Pro. Where can I find relevant information that is easy to understand as to what I have do to make this possible? Thanks
