  1. Lol...same here, awaiting an adapter for my hdmI cable..
  2. Well I have the new Raspbian buster loaded, but not sure how to compile and load indiserver, this Linux coding is beyond my capabilities, and fine using the software....once loaded..
  3. Nothing really even been mentioned on the Ubuntu forums yet, about support for the new rpi4b... 🙁
  4. Yes mine has come this morning, only ordered this time yesterday...but many place now out of stock of the 4gb version..
  5. Who says the USB 3 ports won’t run at full speed...?
  6. 32 bit is absolutely fine for INdI... 64 bit does not interest me at all for my needs, but the much faster Ethernet does, and the USB 3 ports, and also the upgraded BT will be a benefit to me.. and of course the 4gb DDR4 RAM, that will work wonders for my needs..
  7. WiFi system on AB is not good, and not easy to navigate...I want ease, as I said I am a Linux dummy..
  8. I never mentioned anything about 64 bit, I just stated that 18.04 mate, via Stellarmate runs extremely well on rpi3b+, it still 32 bit..
  9. If anyone is really interested in a proper comparison to the rpi3b+ then this is the video to show you the massive difference...
  10. Try Stellarmate, al the hard work is done for you, mind you at a cost it’s $49...but for me as a Linux dumbo, perfect.
  11. Ubuntu mate 18.04 works pretty well on my rpi...as Stellarmate is now based on 18.04..
  12. They have them here too https://www.elektor.com/raspberry-pi-4-b-4-gb-ram think they are in Europe somewhere... 😀
  13. Well the 4gb ones are selling out at the two outlets, PI hut and Pimoroni...so not sure if available anywhere else..
  14. Yes, I got mine from there earlier...but was going to order two, but only allowed one.. 👍
  15. I know, I just spoke to Jasem, and he did not know and has just got a delivery of 50 rpi3b+ and he is not a happy man at all.... ☹️
  16. Yes you can do solar imaging with Kstars / Ekos, as far as I know...
  17. Ok, I got one from Pimoroni they had them in stock.. 😀 just hope Stellarmate runs ok on it now, don’t see why not..
  18. Have you just bought a 4gb version by any chance as gone back to page and sold out now... ☹️☹️
  19. Wow, thanks for the heads up, thought this was due out next year... 👍😀 4gb version for me..
  20. With your setup why do you need a router... surely a network switch would be enough..?
  21. Sounds good, how easy is it to create a hotspot so can connect to it out in the field, as I currently have Stellarmate which has that built in, and guess that would not run on any other SBC other than the rpi...? I realise would need WiFi dongle first...
  22. I get what you are saying, but I actually like the way Kstars and Ekos are an all in one imaging solution, open one piece of software and everything you need is there, no need to open anything else... I guess if you have a different preference for planetarium software then I think being able to use ekos with it independently of Kstars would be a superb idea, but I also doubt it will ever happen...
  23. Have you tried Kstars, which is basically an all in one solution, it too like CCD Ciel is superb...
  24. It isnt new code, it is just Stellarmate in a new box..exactly the same software...
