Hi Artem Okay I understand that but still not clear to me. When I go into APT and choose scope by clicking Shift+scope what should i exactly select? I am using an eq6 Pro older type? Just tried it with eq5/eq6 eqmod and didnt work on stellarium connection. I have pc direct mode on too via the handset for eqmod. I have been working on this for 3 days solid now this is not the only problem I have. I was using the skywatcher mode perfect without pc direct mode on except it wouldn't slew in apt fast enough. Even though I changed the slew settings in apt to 800 on minutes and seconds. Also using this mode would allow me to show sky from apt on stellarium it would not slew on stellarium.

Hi and thank you for the detailed description. I am still a bit lost how do I setup Poth from where? I have tried to go into ascom diagnostics and setup poth hub from there but it loads up eqmod window and it disappears again. I get the bit about the applications just running poth hub from them. Could you give me a numbered rundown on what to do? Kindest regards David

I will try and keep things simple as possible. I am trying to run Stellarium (Via Stellarium Scope) and APT together. I know you can't share com ports via Eqmod so I am trying to run via Acom Poth Hub. Question is where do I setup the poth Hub from? I am guessing I select Poth Hub from ascom setup or is it from Stellarium Scope or APT? Once I have Poth running do I use Poth Hub in all the programs or Generic Hub? I can not find alot on this on the forums or web. It's not clear. I have tried a few times but I seem to get crashes or errors. Kindest regards David

I have reinstalled it on another drive outside of the c:\programfiles area and started it up as administrator. Error creating log file as in picture.

Camera settings are correct as far as i know as they were calibrated with Asps. I have also tried running ASPS stand alone which shows it's not an AFM problem i get the error at bottom of this page.

Hi thanks for that but I have already been through that without luck. I can framesolve in SGP fine. Just dosnt work in APT. I have spent 5 or 6 hours now and still unable to get it to work.

Hi yes installed platesolve2 and asps and pointed them to the correct place. Also the focal length is correct under tools. If i run platesolve on its own i get this error.

When i am running Atro Photography Tools and I try and use the blind platesolve i get this error in the bottom left corner. I also get this menu everytime i run it even though I went through all the steps it asked and it said it saved them. If I click on no it says solved but comes up as failed. If I click on yes i go through the process it asks me to do going tot he website and folowing all the instruction. It then says in future your setting will be automatic. But I get thsi menu again Can anyone help and point me in the right direction?

Try updatingt he bootloader first them the firmware. I had the same issue because I done it the wrong way around.

Best view of neptune was around 8 years ago with my CpC800 could just make out some small detail. I would like to do some imaging now I have an imaging setup.
