Hi all!
I've joined to get more information and engage with the stargazing community.
I studied aerospace and satellite engineering. I'm keen to get more involved in astronomy - I've done a few observing sessions in the past but nothing too serious.
I'm a keen photographer, having done semi-professional and a little professional work over the past decade.
My kit so far is:
Skywatcher Heritage 90 Virtuoso (seems to be broken though)
Maksutov 90mm telescope
Skywatcher EQ5 Pro mount
I did my first observing session with the new mount yesterday, finding it tricky to get alignment done! I want to figure this out before going on holiday as I'm driving to Devon with the kit in the hope of clear skies.
I took some lunar photos and a few of Mars, none really came out despite the 4-5 hours in the cold last night...
