As above your first investment should be a solid mount. A HEQ5 Pro is a good starting point and where I started. Its a great mount that you can get second hand for around £500 to £600.

hi so i recently bought an asiair and was wondering how people warm the camera after a session in order toprevent thermal shock.
-
Thanks all for the info the jackery power bank looks interesting I didn't know if the 240 would power all my kit and the 500 is so expensive but from what your saying i could power my kit comfortably.

Is the ZWO ASI120MM Mini a good pairing with the william optics 50mm guidescope.

I am going to be buying a Zenithstar 73 primarly for imaging and I was wondering if anyone know a good guidescope package that would work well. I know William Optics do a guidescope but it is a bit price once i factor in the camera aswell so was wondering if there are any alternative packages people know about.

I'm in the same position with light pollution filters and will be purchasing the one you have link. I'm still quite new but from what I have read it will work on the camera but I'm not sure if it will block out the LED streetlights that surround me as it only blocks sodium lines from the lights. But like I said I have read about them and that filter seems like a good start for me at least.

Brilliant I will give it a go thanks. Clear Skies!

Thats what I thought it was. I have a question about flats I will struggle to get them during the day as I heard you cant move the scopes orientation so would a white shirt over the lens and a laptop with a white screen held up to it work. Thanks for the help.

Hi,
I have taken my first photo with my new HEQ5 Pro and I'm happy with my first attempt, however, there there is a glow in the centre of the image which I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with avoiding in my future photos. The only editing I have done with the image is set the black and white points. Thanks.

Yeah I figured it out. thanks for all the help from everyone I been busy with work so just logged on. Clear skies
