  2. As above your first investment should be a solid mount. A HEQ5 Pro is a good starting point and where I started. Its a great mount that you can get second hand for around £500 to £600.

  8. Thanks all for the info the jackery power bank looks interesting I didn't know if the 240 would power all my kit and the 500 is so expensive but from what your saying i could power my kit comfortably.
  9. Hi so i recently bought a ASI Air plus to scale down wires and stuff and now have my rig the way i want it. I power it from the mains hen at home but i will be looking to go to some dark sky sites in the near future and need a portable power unit. Im currently powering the following. ASI 294MC Pro EAF 120mm Mini One Dew heater USB HEQ5 Pro ASI AIr plus Does anyone have any recommendations on potenital options that are affordable. Clear Skies

  17. Is the ZWO ASI120MM Mini a good pairing with the william optics 50mm guidescope.
  18. I am going to be buying a Zenithstar 73 primarly for imaging and I was wondering if anyone know a good guidescope package that would work well. I know William Optics do a guidescope but it is a bit price once i factor in the camera aswell so was wondering if there are any alternative packages people know about. Clear skys

  20. I'm in the same position with light pollution filters and will be purchasing the one you have link. I'm still quite new but from what I have read it will work on the camera but I'm not sure if it will block out the LED streetlights that surround me as it only blocks sodium lines from the lights. But like I said I have read about them and that filter seems like a good start for me at least.
