  1. When I received mine it was loose and I had read to tighten all the way down to start with, then I had to adjust tilt which helped with stars but the results of all my previews were the same. I do have some material I can use for shims and will try that tonight. Also want to make sure about back focus which I believe is 39.8 mm. Not looking for perfection by any means that would make you mad for sure.
  2. Considered a RASA but chose the Edge for the different focal length possibilities
  3. I stretched it in pixinsight
  4. Thanks for the help. I did find one image that was actually saved and converted to jpeg.
  5. Thanks Olly as soon as I can get out again I will handle the image differently
  6. Elp I have v4 and do not use a dew shield currently, I am going to try to rotate the camera to see if that helps with the banding as well.
  7. This was a 10 sec exposure. I tried anywhere from gain 120 to 0, bin 1 and bin 2. It is like I see the optical tube and then a shadow of it below it and then black around the corners. I attached the original image and will take another tonight if it doesnt rain with just a screen shot Edgehd asi2600mc hyperstar w / filter drawer and I am using a primalucelab esatto 2
  8. I am using an edgehd 8 hyperstar and asi2600mc and my subs look like this. Any ideas?
  9. Dave thanks for the help, I feel stupid now... tonight was good and the difference was the wind was a little harder last night. Not sure but that is my guess
  10. i am using an ioptron cem25p and have a handheld device for the shutter
  11. I was trying it out just a few minutes ago and can focus long way and even as close as 25 feet, so I wonder if maybe it's a setting on the camera? In manual mode and was using bulb and iso 800
  12. It's not even close... so I am curious if I put on the prism and try and use a barlow attached to the camera.
  13. I just have the camera connected to the scope and could not get the stars into focus. Cant get a picture right now. I am using the Canon adapter, Canon camera connected to the back of the scope.
  14. I am new to using the WO RC51 and tried to focus in on Orion and was not able to get close using just the scope and my Canon dlsr, what am I missing here?
