  1. Stellarium telescope control up and running ? Thank you, much appreciated! Peter
  2. Now, the telescopes.json Julian posted (thanks again!) is for a connection via TCP port; I'd like to connect via serial port (/dev/ttyUSB0). In case anyone has such a telescopes.json as well, please share. Thanks!
  3. Great! Does not work immediately, but now I have a basis to play around later today. Thanks!
  4. Hi, I'm deperately looking for a telescopes.json file created by the Stellarium TelescopeControl plugin (and maybe a points.json as well ... don't know what that is for, though). The file(s) is/are normally located in $HOME/.stellarium/modules/TelescopeControl/ (Linux, I think it's a similar directory in Windows or MacOS). The files could be created in Windows and then copied to my Linux folder, but I don't have a native Windows machine and issues with the emulated one as well. Background: Stellarium won't let me add my telescope, as the configuration dialog won't disappear when pressing the OK button (see here for details: https://sourceforge.net/p/stellarium/discussion/278769/thread/fae0bc91/). According to the mentioned forum post this situation can be resolved by copying the telescopes.json (and maybe points.json) into the telescope plugin folder. I've searched the internet over and over, but cannot find copies of that files. Would be great if someone could share them with me. I'm aware that I will have to edit the files to fit my setup, but without knowing what the fies look like, I don't know where to start. Also, if anyone has had the same issue with the "Add telescope" dialog not closing in Stellarium, please share your solution, if different from what I'm aiming for. Thanks in advance, Peter
