  1. Mine is on nearly every evening, with this cloud cover its often the only moonlight I see!! Lovely item. ?
  2. Here's my slightly more humble pairing. Bresser 152mm and Opticstar 90mm. The baby frac usually has my dslr attached. ?
  3. Glad you keep the colour scheme, would fry my head otherwise... ? Things just have to match!!
  4. Simple, because I like to look at what I spend my money on. ? That's my reason...
  5. Another nice shiny case to pop the BSTs in.. Nice and neat now, well it will be when the 8mm eventually turns up!!
  6. Not the most expensive collection but still works fine for me. The space in the BST set is for the 8mm which is still on back order with FLO. I like the matching cases, an OCD thing. ?
  7. First foray into autoguiding turned up today courtesy of @parallaxerr Let my venture into AP attempt to begin! ? Think I've got everything I need now.
  8. Does satisfy the ocd tendencies doesn't it?? ?
  9. Box full of BST Starguiders arrived this afternoon. Unfortunately the 8mm is awaiting stock so should be with me soon.. Cheers FLO. ? Also a 2" nose piece to m42, so can get my dslr onto the baby frac now. Good day for deliveries.
  10. They certainly make life easier for removing and assembling it all! ?
  11. If it's a smart TV it should be pre installed in your apps. Signs in just the same on it. If it isn't a smart TV then ain't got a clue squire!! ?
  12. Worth every penny me thinks!! ? Wouldn't be without it now.
  13. Not sure the financial authorities will enable that to happen just yet!!! Not totally sure she's aware I bought the 90mm one yet ?
  14. Just arrived to me today courtesy of @kerrylewis a nice little Opticstar Ar80s to go with the 90mm I recently acquired. Happy little family now!! ? Hopefully one for the imaging and one for the guiding when I eventually get all the required gubbins.
  15. Just bought the 80mm also to use as a guidescope. ?
  16. Nice Mr postman (he's called Gary and he really is nice) brought a cheap dslr I purchased off fleabay, shame the t-ring didn't turn up though. Soon be time to try my hand at a bit of Astrophotography.. Should be fun. ?
  17. Thanks to bendiddley this turned up today nice and cheap. Spent the next couple of hours tidying it up and now : Good as new ?
  18. And once again here's that little opticstar sitting with its big bro...
  19. Nothing too exciting but it does allow me to piggyback my baby frac now. Been waiting 3 weeks!!
  20. Should make viewing quite comfy for me now. Long frac and being 6'3" doesn't help my back when getting towards the zenith.
  21. Many thanks to Johninderby, an extension post for my HEQ5 arrived today so no more ep's knocking into the leg. ?
  22. My new to me baby frac which shall soon be pressed into service mounted with my big frac.. Opticstar AR90S. F5. 5 Quite pleased with the build quality of it..
  23. Haha, it's not actually great spec on paper compared to many but for me it works a dream. The diagonal supplied was as good as a toy so upped that to a 2" dielectric and that made a massive difference.
  24. Hi, it's the 152.. First time I looked at jupiter my jaw dropped and it wasn't even good seeing. I prefer it to my 10" dob which now never gets used. Felt like a kid at Xmas. ? Jas
