hello Hopefully some one can help. I own a copy of astroflat by prodigital. i have had this for a few years now. i have had some computer issues over the years with a couple of major crashes. Now when i try to use it i keep getting a message saying i have used my three activation's. is there anyway i can de-activate my previous activation's? Reaching out as i have tried to contact them though the website a couple of times and have had no reply from them. Cheers Andy

Okay thanks for that it certainly explains some stuff.

I just find it strange that all of a sudden with no notice from ZWO that they go ahead and change this. i cant find anything about the change. its a big thing not to give some explanation.. It is a feature of the qhy294 but zwo said they wouldn't unlock this full pixel mode. but the qhy cams enable you the switch between modes, i cant see any way to switch modes in the ascom driver

Where did you see the info about the driver update?

I did update the driver. but i cannot see anywhere i can use the original camera settings. it just shoots 43megbites now instead of 11megapixel i contacted ZWO to explain what is going on and all i got back was "You can change bin1 to bin2 in the app." No explanation about if anything has changed in the new driver. It gives me more flexibility with the cam. But it is also concerning that the fault maybe in cam ( my new cam ) and if so then what else is going wrong..

this camera is supposed to be very quantum efficient and very low nose after 120 gain any idea how that would be effected by the lack of on board binning Andy

This is the mono 294 does that make any difference

Hello Anyone seen this before. My almost new asi294 has gone from 11mega pixels to 43mega pixels. obviously the onboard binning has failed. Guess i am wondering if i should just Binn in spg. Is there any difference to on camera or software binning. Still under Guarantee and is only two or three months old bought from FLO . any advice would be appreciated Andy
