  1. Thanks Drjuju...tried that and still had no luck so I posted the issue to the EQMOD Yahoo group and now I'm backup and everything seems to be running fine as before. I had to delete the .ini files and some others and once I did that everything my reinstall worked. Thanks for trying to help!
  2. HI all, Hoping this has been encountered before by others... For many months now I have been running EQMOD, Cartes du Ciel, BackYard EOS, PHD2 guiding, and Astrophotography Tool - with no problems. Now, I keep getting the message in the title of this post. Have tried a number of remedies - i.e.: uninstalling & then reinstalling EQASCOM and Astrophotography Tool... etc. Also tried using one of the repair tools that you download from the net - but these only do a partial scan of your system and then they want $30-40 to "get the complete package" - would rather not do that. All this started RIGHT AFTER - the latest "Windows Update" - a couple of days ago. Is there any way to get rid of the this Runtime Error 55 - File already open - cause its preventing me from running EQMOD
