  1. For Sale is my Sky-Watcher Evostar 72ED DS-Pro OTA. Purchased new in February 2018. In excellent condition having been used <6 times since purchase, it comes packaged in the original aluminum travel case. Selling as i would like to try a different scope which sadly requires me to free up some cash/space first. Price is £175 collected. I could potentially post in the UK for +£10 but it would be at your own risk. Payment via PayPal, bank transfer or cash (if collected). I am located in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire but would be willing to travel a short distance if it helped. Thanks, Andy
  2. For Sale is my Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P-DS. Purchased new in January 2018. In excellent condition with just the usual signs of usage - mark on the draw tube outside from the crayford focuser and minor clamp marks on the vixen (both highlighted in the photos below). Once collimated it proveds excellent views. I bought the scope with the intention of using it for imaging but in the end it has only had very light visual use. As i have three other scopes, this hardly gets any use these days and must now make room for other things. The sale included the items included in the box: 130P-DS OTA 6x30 Finderscope 2 inch drawtube adapter 1.25 inch drawtube adapter Collimation screwdriver and allen key Dust caps for the OTA, dual speed focuser and drawtube Skywatcher 28 mm 2 inch eyepiece Price is £104 collected. I could potentially post in the UK for +£15 but as i don't have the original box this is a risk i don't think is worth it. Payment via PayPal, bank transfer or cash (if collected). I am located in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire but would be willing to travel a short distance if it helped. Thanks, Andy
  3. For Sale is my Baader Mark-III Coma Corrector. Purchased new in February 2018. This is as new, only removed from the packaging for the photographs. I bought it with the aim of imaging with my 130PDS but in the end i decided to go in a different direction and it has just sat in a drawer for a year. Price is £80 collected or £86 delivered in the UK. Payment via PayPal, bank transfer or cash (if collected). I am located in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire. Thanks, Andy
  4. Thanks, Mark. Its packaged up and will be picked up by the courier tomorrow for delivery to you on Wednesday. I'll send the tracking info via PM once i have it. Thanks again, Andy
  5. For Sale is my Celestron HD Heavy Duty Pro Wedge. Purchased new from FLO in December 2017. This is brand new and has never even been removed from the packaging, the box having been opened only to check the contents. It is designed to be used on the Celestron fork mounts (CPS, Evolution etc) to basically convert them into an EQ mount. Its for sale as i have now gone in a different direction and am in the process of selling my Celestron Evolution mount. Price is £220 OVNO collected or £235 delivered in the UK (with packaging it weighs 17 kg). Payment via PayPal, bank transfer or cash (if collected). I am located in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire but would be willing to travel a short distance if it helped. Thanks, Andy
  6. For Sale is my Celestron StarSense Autoalign. Purchased new in December 2017. In excellent condition having been used maybe 3-4 times in total. It enables you to be star aligned and observing in minutes. Once calibrated to your scope, i found it to be very accurate in its goto slewing. Its for sale only because i am in the process of selling my Celestron mount and it is not compatible with my SkyWatcher mount. Price is £200 OVNO collected or £210 delivered in the UK. Payment via PayPal, bank transfer or cash (if collected). I am located in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire but would be willing to travel a short distance if it helped. Thanks, Andy
  7. For Sale is my Celestron NexStar Evolution mount and HD tripod. This comprises of: NexStar Evolution go-to mount with built in wi-fi and lithium battery. It can be controlled via the Celestron app or Sky Safari app on your tablet/smartphone or via the hand controller. Although i have only used it via mains power, i am told the built in battery is good for up to 10 hours of observing. It is a vixen style mounting bracket and the gears are good quality brass and aluminium worm type. There are 4 auxiliary ports and for accessories such as StarSense and GPS units. There is also an in built red illumination light and accessory tray. Power supply. NexStar hand controller. The firmware can be upgraded via the pc software and currently has a data base of over 42,000 objects. HD Tripod. As this is from the C9.25 kit it is the heavier duty tripod that is normally supplied with the heavier CPC line of telescopes. It is very solid and finished nicely (especially compared to my SkyWatcher AZ-EQ6 tripod). The mount was purchased new as part of the NexStar Evolution SCT 9.25 kit in November 2017. During this time it has been stored indoors, used maybe 5-6 times and is in as new condition with not a mark on it. I am selling as i have another mount and need to free up some space for my other hobbies. I would like £495 OVNO. Payment via PayPal, bank transfer or cash only. I no longer have the box and due to the size and weight, i would prefer collection only please but may be able to deliver within 30 miles. I am located in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire. Thanks, Andy

  13. Hi John, I do have a DSLR (Nikon D5500, non modded) but i am primarily intending to use either my newly acquired ZWO ASI183MM or the ZWO ASI224MC i have had for a while, albeit unused. I will certainly be checking out the software you recommend. Andy

  15. Hi all, I am still very new to astronomy, but not to IT in general. I have put together a decent pile of kit to cover me from lunar, planetary and deep space imaging. I am however struggling with software selection! Please could you advise me on which capture, stacking, processing software is the best (in your opinion) at the moment? I have SharpCap Pro which i will be using for polar align and i also have Photoshop as part of the photography subscription. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks, Andy
