Hi,
Will there be support for DSLR camera's on the ASIAIR PRO ?
There is already considerable DSLR support and i can only imagine that the ASIAIR PRO builds upon this:

Interested to see how the final production model shapes up. Love the idea of what this is but personally i am struggling to justify the price point over an Intel based NUC. I can see the attraction but am looking forward to the final specs and real world reviews 🙂

Lovely little package was awaiting me today after work.
Got better when I opened it up.
A nice shiny Herschel wedge. Thought I'd have a crack at solar viewing for a change.
What are your impressions of this? I am in a tizzle over this and the Baader one. Its almost £100 more but i do know Baader stuff is top notch.

Some of you may be aware that i have been offloading some of my Astro kit these last few weeks. This was what the money went towards.
Courtesy of FLO via ES Reid:
Pleased as punch and it lives up to all my expectations in quality. Just figuring out my imaging train but will be hoping for some clear skies next week!
Cheers,
Andy

A small haul courtesy of FLO and delivered by a friendly chap from DPD called Dave.
Hubble torch so i can finally get around to fitting Bobs Knobs on my SCT. Not the greatest build quality but its functionality seems spot on.
I decided to delve into the black art of OAG'ing with this little chap from ZWO and also a bubble level attachment to bring my 1st gen ZWO ADC up to spec.
After much debating, especially a SharpCap owner, i took the plunge an d got myself a QHY Polemaster plus adapter for my AZEQ6.
And finally, an ADM saddle replacement for the standard AZEQ6 saddle. Safe to say that this is a big upgrade in both surface area and quality. Pricey but worth it imho.
All in all some nice upgrades to my kit and all delivered in less than 24 hour from ordering. Keep up the good work FLO!

Thanks for the input on this age old thread, much appreciated.
Common sense tells me to go with the Pentax, however if i go for aesthetics, the Delos is much more fitting to my ES collection.
Joking aside, every review i have seen raves about the Pentax, especially the comfort. I will save myself £60 and go with the majority.
Thanks everyone!

First off, sorry for resurrecting an old thread.
What are peoples thoughts on these two eye pieces in this day and age, after a lot more people have has had a chance to get hold of the Delos. Is it still toss coin time between the Pentax and Televue or is there more to it?

What happened to its eyes? ?
Tempted but must resist.

Good price! Ordered one from you last night for my in progress imaging setup.
Now to decide on a guide camera for it. Leaning towards the ASI 290mm or maybe save a bit and just go with the 120mm hmmmm

Thanks Zayvin, been back in the astronomy caper now for about 3 years after a 30 year gap. The collection is slowly growing, although given the atrocious weather we have had this past year I sometimes think I’m collecting Asto gear for the sheer pleasure of collection rather than actually doing anything with it ?
Nice WO 2” Diagonal by the way, should make a really nice addition to your Evolution, great piece of innovation with the temperature gauge on the side.
How did you find the Telegizmos 365 cover in practice? Is it able to be tied down in any way or does it just hang?
Paul.
Tell me about it, the weather is a real problem
I have yet to unpack the telegizmos 365 cover, hopefully this weekend. I am hoping it will sit quite low and be tied off, we shall see.

Recently made the decision to remove my conventional finder scope attachment and replace with an Avalon X-Guider. All new elements required for mounting of the X-Guider have now been delivered apart from the X-Guider itself, still awaiting delivery from Avalon, but I’m sure Santa will do his best to persuade Avalon to deliver it soon after the new year :-)
New items in the past month:
New Avalon X-Guider (not yet delivered)
New Baader Dovetail bar for my 8” EdgeHD to mount the X-Guider
New PrimaLuce Labs 115mm Rings for my 80mm Finderscope
New Primaluce Labs 140mm Dovetail Bar, interface between finder and X-Guider
Last but not least, a new Laser pointer for my 15x85mm Bins
Yes Santa has been good to me ?
Some very nice kit you have there!

Hi all,
Has anyone managed to obtain one of these, specifically the 68 mm? Really interested to hear your review/opinion. It looks like one of the most perfect widefield scopes going!
Thanks in advance,
Andy
