    Moonrise in Alps

Hmm, about the 3D feeling I have a question: Is it good investment to buy a binoviewer set? I heared that, it makes very dimensional the planets and the Moon. But the cheapest one, what I see on web, it's about 250 dollars and of course I need to buy 2 same type eyepieces o.O
  3. I like the skeches! Before I bought my telescope in last year march, I looked lot of skeches on the web, because it show very good, how the objects really looks in the eyepiece. Nice job, Mariosi!

    Moonrise in Alps

Thanks guys ? I love it, when the sky objects comes up from behind the mountains. Jupiter with his moons or Saturn with the ring between pine trees, everybody must see that once in the life, it's beautiful! I will try to make some long expusure pic about dso-s, when they rise up, and make a gif from these frames. We will see, how it looks ?

  6. From the album: Imaging Challenge #17 - Through the Eyepiece

I just tried to see the moving of this object. I made 20 frames with my Huawei P10 smartphone, with the monochrome camera. My star tracking is not so sharp, I have alt-az mount, I used only 10 sec expositions at ISO 1600. The shots was taken in every 10-12 minutes in this time intervall: 00:16-03:53am 2018. 08.16. Celestron Nexstar 8 SE, 25mm plössl eyepiece (magnification 80x). Of course I used a good adapter too. Frames has added with Gif maker pro mobile application.

  7. Very nice job, Calli! How did you stack the pictures? I think, over the sun and moon + planets everything is deep space object, or isn't?
  8. Really like it? It makes me happy!! I don't know, how can I get the angle, what I see in the eyepiece? This is 80x magnification with my 2000 mm focal lenght instrument, the diameter is 200 mm. 25 mm plössl eyepiece?
  9. Yes, of course, but the sensitivity of my color camera is very bad. I made a gif too from 20 monochrome pictures, because of my alt-az mount its a little bit funny ?(the stars takes a round, but the comet is moving between them), but I want to entry with this gif into imaging challenge #17. The 20 frame was taken with my phone, and Celestron Nexstar 8 SE with 25mm plössl eyepiece, in every 10-12 minutes in the intervall 00:16-03:53 2018.08.16. Do you think, is it a good idea? Or better to entry with a single shot?
  10. I tried again the comet 21P Giacobini-Zinner, Celestron Nexstar 8 SE, Alt-az mount, Huawei P10 smartphone, monochrome camera, 25mm plössl eyepiece. 2018. 08.15. 23:52, Hirschegg im Kleinwalsertal, Austria. 30 sec exposition at ISO 1600.
