  1. A big thank you for keeping the lounge going also❤️ Glen.
  2. Don't worry because I made a hard decision to sell my visual observing equipment so we are going to have some excellent weather. Glen.
  3. The Protostar Flockboard was/is excellent stuff. Buying was always a little hit and miss from Bryan although most of the time I did receive it. When I had my little business before retiring I used to sell it. Good grief the postage from the states was ridiculous. I always got complaints about the price 😀 Glen.
  4. Hi Jules, I hope all is well with you. Still raining in Queensbury?😀 Glen.
  5. Yes, John, Marmite springs to mind. When I was testing the 102 F/11's before sending them out I always used the Brandon's. It was easy for me to have the time to test stuff with being a bedroom retailer😇 I love Marmite by the way😀 Glen.
  6. The Brandon's are certainly good eyepieces. Sadly, I sold mine because I couldn't justify owning Fujiyama Ortho's as well as the Brandon line. The single Mag/fluorite coatings on the Brandon's were/are exceptional. Glen.
  7. Totally agree, John. Yes, it was a subtle difference to be sure. Not sure if many people would have noticed it. I did try and push the Fujiyama eyepieces to be made in a volcano top design but I didn't quite manage it sadly. I personally think it was a mistake. Glen.
  8. I found the optics on the Fujiyama had a little less scatter, but certainly not as comfy to use. Glen.
  9. I much preferred the volcano top design to the newer Fujiyama design. I did have a little input on the design of the Fujiyama. At least I got rid of the undercuts😀 Glen.
  10. Still love that Carton objective. Looks beautiful after your refurbish. Glen.
  11. I remember selling that scope to Marvas. They are excellent scopes. You wouldn't be sorry buying the scope. Glen.
  12. Yes, you had to buy 50 minimum of each focal length. Glen.
  13. Another very well written report, thank you. Glen.
  14. Anthony, I think you are doing really well. I like your determination. Glen.
  15. Another well written report, thank you. Glen.
  16. A very nice well written report. I hope to see more like that. Some of my favourite subjects to visit also. Glen.
  17. I like pushing my small 61mm scope to the limit. It always gives me great pleasure when I can achieve this. Great thread by the way. Glen.
  18. It's good to see a 80mm F/10. That depth of focus will be so easy with Ortho eyepieces. Thanks for bringing these to our shores, well done. Glen.
  19. Just received my Dioptrx for my 2.75 cylinder problem. Just need the weather to change. I really do hope this will change my viewing. Thanks FLO. Glen.
  20. Don't touch it, send it back. Removing glue is a tricky business. My thoughts anyway. Glen.
  21. I don't wear stockings personally, not even at Christmas. Glen.
  22. Just received my new Televue Telepod mount. Love the sticker on the box.
  23. I use Halfords acrylic spray paint in appliance white. Just make sure you use the Halfords primer and use light thin coats. A very good durable paint and easy to get. Not a good time of year to be painting though. Glen.
  24. I think the Morpheus line is very similar in tone to the Fujiyama Ortho's. Don't see much scatter either. Glen.
  25. It was too cold for me last night. When the locks freeze up on the car it's a no, no. Glen.
