How easy do you find changing the filters? Are the in the camera?
Thanks

I have a 150 PDS, 150 mm diameter and 750 mm long (focal length) the S at the end means it shorter then the PD and is better for astrophotography.
I am very pleased with mine!! This photo shows my ED80 mounted on top of the 150PDS!

Ron mine was the 7th June one of the hottest days of the year. I can't match the 24" TV but it is something I will never forget even though the TV was small and not that good.
Also married on the 7th June, snap!!

I had also only married a month earlier, we had a big (24") B & W TV then. It needed to have 50 pence pieces put into a meter to keep going!! Doesn't seem 50 years though!!

Off to Provence, SE France in September. The reason being we have a newly born Grandson to visit. They live in the shadow of the Alps and only an hour to the Mediterranean sea!
Really looking forward to it!!

Standard SW finder scope with a QHY mini cam..

I use a finder/guider on my SW 150PDS (FL 750) but have also used it without a problem on my late MN190 (FL 1000) and of coarse on my ED80. Works a treat!

I vary mine, if I'm imaging low down I use 2-3s but near the zenith I would use 1s max.

Missed it too Clive!!

A factory reset sounds like the best course of action.. I use a 20mm EP but do have an old 12mm EP with cross hairs if I need it!
Good luck

Looking forward to your first light report Mark ..😋

Ok, but I will still use the handset as I have always done..😀
-
You won't, you are right with saying the PDS model has the mirror nearer so no 'racking' in needed..
Good luck

I always use Home then switch off. Why do you move the scope on the first alignment by hand?? Never heard of that before, the encoders must be totally lost by now!!
I ALWAYS use the handset during alignment and only ever do a 2 Star align.#
No problems in 11 years!!

Don't get a SynGuider unless you've got perfect eyesight! It's a very small screen and I found it difficult to use.

I use Hawk Endurance 10 x 50 bins, excellent view and crystal clear. Highly recommended for bird watching too!

How do you access the Skywatcher feature please?

Agreed but I would like to see more use of the telescope, especially a 14" SCT!
